7 Skyforest, CA Skyforest, CA Seasonal Seasonal $16 - $18 an hour $16 - $18 an hour 12 days ago 12 days ago 12 days ago The Wedding Set-Up Crew is responsible for the set-up and teardown of wedding functions within SkyPark, such as ceremonies, receptions, rehearsals, rehearsal dinners and elopements.
The Wedding Set-Up Crew will work directly under the SkyPark Wedding Events Manager.
When wedding tasks are completed early, the SkyPark Wedding Events Manager will assign additional tasks with the Events or Groundskeeping Department.
This position is seasonal and requires availability on weekends and holidays.
Job Duties:
Communicates with the SkyPark Weddings Event Manager or Venue Supervisor at the beginning and end of each shift (including breaks) or anyone in the Wedding office.
Handles setups and teardowns of equipment, supplies, and other materials as necessary for operational needs and venue operations.
Assists in the maintenance and inventory control for all venue operational assets.
Assists with the general overall upkeep of venue equipment.
Operates heavy equipment including but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks (manual and motorized), boom lifts, scissor lifts, and reach forks.
Complies to all safety policies, procedures, and protocols when executing on work duties and responsibilities.
Provides excellent customer service across all venues and SkyPark property.
Prepare all venue areas for daily and future events.
Maintain venue areas including cleaning floors, vacuuming, cleaning walls, windows and mirrors.
Secure items in proper storage areas at the end of each event.
Perform additional job duties as necessary and relevant.

Qualifications:
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and execute while under time constraints.
Able to effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to multi-task and effectively maneuver between functions.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
Able to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
Flexible schedule; available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Experience working in similar work environment preferred.
Must display the ability to collaborate with the team and execute each event with highest level of professionalism.
Must have strong communication skills and display customer service.
Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
